Friends of Upward Bound UK relies entirely on gifts and donations from individuals, organisations and other trusts and foundations. 

If you are inspired by our mission and want to make a difference to the lives of young people who are struggling, you can support us by making either a one-off or a monthly donation.

    Supports a young person to have a healthy breakfast and snacks  on an Upward Bound programme.

  • £20

    Pays for a specialist a tutor to lead a  workshop for 15 young people on an Upward Bound programme.

  • £50

     Pays for  specialist  mentors to provide pastoral support on Upward Bound programmes.

  • £150

    Pays for a student to attend a residential programme.

    Subsidises Breakfast Club on Upward Bound Programmes.

    supports a young person to attend Poetry Workshops on Upward Bound programmes.

    Subsidises Sciences classes on Upward Bound programmes.

A monthly donation, however small, enables us to plan our support more effectively. Every penny you donate goes directly to the projects we support and thus to the young people we target.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows us to reclaim the basic rate tax you pay as a UK taxpayer.

It means that we can claim 25p of tax for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration.
